Château Gardour, Lalande-de-Pomerol


Château Gardour, also known as Château Moncets, is situated in the commune of Néac, with only a stream separating it from the best part of Pomerol The grand nineteenth-century château is unusual in Lalande -de-Pomerol, but there is no aloof proprietor in charge: the fifth-generation owner, Louis-Gabriel de Jerphanion, is fully hands-on, and ultimately responsible for the quality of the wine.
