Château Haut-Maginet is a family estate based in Soussac, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. The Jolivet family began with twenty-seven hectares in 1981, and through acquiring neighbouring vineyards have built the estate up to its present 103 hectares. The vines average twenty years old

A medium-bodied yet full-flavoured wine that offers thrilling concentration of ripe berry fruit, reined in by a classic bordeaux structure.

The emphasis is on environmentally-friendly viticulture, with grass cover every other row, sustainable pest-control, and organic fertilizers in use. Individual plots are monitored twice a week to check the ripeness of the grapes.
