Chinon Ben Breton. France.
The house of Foucher Lebrun was founded in 1921 by a cooper, Paulin Lebrun, and was passed down through the family of his son-inlaw, Raymond Foucher. In 2009, the team was joined by director Jean Mounard, a Parisian fine wine merchant, who set out to raise quality while maintaining the exceptional value for money. This he has done in an impressively short space of time, producing pure, characterful, and expressive wines.
