Bright aromas of red berry fruit, especially blackcurrant and red grapes, are followed by a mellow, medium-bodied palate with typical delicacy and floral notes.

Chiroubles is the highest cru in Beaujolais, rising to 450 metres above sea level at its peak. This domaine’s vineyards face south-southwest on steep slopes at 400 metres altitude, and the soil is a mix of granite and sand. Giving one of the lightest, purest styles of Beaujolais.
