Tasting Notes

Expressive notes of white and black pepper, meaty tones and black and red fruit, as well as an elegant touch of oak. The palate is full, round and velvety with a long finish.

Under a semi-arid Mediterranean climate, the Apalta vineyard have a special meso-climate that is different from the rest of the Colchagua Valley. Syrah is performing very well in the specific terroir of this vineyard. The vineyard benefits both from a cooling influence from the Tinguiririca river on one side, and protection from intense morning and evening sunlight from the hills surrounding the vineyard like a horseshoe. This creek-like setting ensure balance and silky texture in the Syrah. The grapes are hand harvested
