The earlier-drinking little brother of Lapostolle’s iconic Clos Apalta, Canto is a deliciously juicy yet immensely refined blend. Luxurious fruit aromas are framed by tobacco and chocolate from the Carmenère, while the palate combines serious depth with a smooth, rounded texture.

The Rapel Valley is one of the few places with ideal conditions for Carmenère.  Both the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean have a cooling influence on the vineyards. The grapes for this vintage are partly from Lapostolle’s own Apalta vineyard and partly from long-term contract growers in the region. All grapes were harvested by hand.
