Ribera Del Duero Crianza. Spain
Ribera Del Duero Crianza. The mountainous extremes and violent extremes of temperature which characterize Ribera del Duero have failed to discourage winemakers, who have flocked there in droves in the past few years. Soil conditions are perfect for vinegrowing and the grapes produced are of particularly fine quality. This bodega was established in 1988 and now extends to 200 hectares of vineyard planted exclusively to Tinto Fino (the local name for Tempranillo). The climate in Ribera del Duero is continental with slight Atlantic influences. Winters tend to be fairly cold, while summers are dry and hot.
