Serego Alighieri Vaio Armaron. Masi. Italy
This estate was bought in 1353 by the son of Dante “Divine Comedy” Alighieri, and is still owned by his descendants; Masi lend their winemaking expertise. Cool vineyards near the Lake Garda give wonderful richness and clarity to the flavours. This is the icon wine of the historic Serego Alighieri estate and comes from the eponymous vineyard, the source it seems of the very name Amarone itself. The Vaio Armaron vineyard at Gargagnago belongs to the counts Serego Alighieri.
